Kate works in either English or Dutch.
Sessions can be in person at the practice in Liskwartier, Rotterdam, or online. For a part of the year sessions will only be online.
Professional affiliations and ethics
Kate is a member of the NIP (Nederlands Institute of Psychologen) and follows their code of ethics.
Privacy
The practice aims to be fully compliant with GPDR legislation. Information, if shared, will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. I follow guidance from my governing body (NIP). These processes will be kept under review and refreshed if anything changes.
Axians is the organisation that will creates the billing for the practice. They employ a three step encryption process which is compliant with the legislation.
Confidentiality
All the information discussed in a therapy session is confidential. There will be nothing written about you unless you give your written consent. In supervision and intervision there will be no information disclosed that would reveal your identity.
Quality statute
From January 2017 all mental health professionals need to have a quality statement. You can access the statement here.

The psychotherapist promises to act in a professional manner, that is to say, with a sense of responsibility, integrity, respect and professional knowledge - and for that reason the psychotherapist will not be held liable for possible direct or indirect damage to the client.
